AI CAN HELP · YOU STAY IN CONTROL

AI Safety Notice

Tessa’s uses AI to reduce household work, not to take over human judgment. This notice explains the risks, the checks you must make and the decisions AI is never allowed to make for you.

EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2026
Required rule: AI can be wrong. Never use an AI answer as the only basis for a health, medicine, allergy, food, skin, child, pet, tool, vehicle, financial, travel or emergency decision. Inspect the real item and follow the current label, manufacturer and qualified professional.

1. What AI is—and is not

AI output is a draft, suggestion or creative aid. It may misunderstand an image, invent a detail, miss a warning, use incomplete household information or become outdated. Tessa’s AI is not a person, doctor, pharmacist, dietitian, veterinarian, cosmetologist, mechanic, lawyer, financial adviser or emergency service.

Opening an AI screen does not itself send a photo. Processing begins only after you choose an analysis action. See the Privacy & No-Ads Policy for the data map.

2. Cabinet Guide: label review only

  • Cabinet Guide does not diagnose, prescribe, calculate a dose, combine medicines, check interactions or recommend off-label use.
  • It may surface only an eligible non-prescription item so an adult can reread the current physical Drug Facts label or ask a pharmacist.
  • Prescription, expired, allergy-matched and label-incomplete items are blocked from automated matching.
  • Allergy and reaction records may be incomplete. Confirm the selected person, allergy status, current label, seal, expiration and recall status every time.
  • Call 911 for a U.S. medical emergency. Call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 for a possible poisoning or overdose.

3. Pantry, recipes and food safety

Meal ideas can omit an allergen, misunderstand quantity, overlook cross-contact, suggest unsafe leftovers or misread a dietary preference. Check every ingredient label, allergy, recall, temperature, storage history and expiration. When food safety is uncertain, discard the food. Durable kitchen inventory is excluded from recipes, but you must still verify every suggested ingredient.

4. Vanity, skin and AI Mirror

Look Studio and AI Mirror are creative visualizations. They do not prove shade, color, compatibility, ingredient safety, skin response or the final appearance. Patch-test where appropriate, read product warnings, stop if irritation occurs and seek qualified care for a reaction. Do not use AI Mirror for skin diagnosis or cosmetic-procedure planning.

5. Closet, fit and body images

Outfit, fit, weather and packing ideas can be wrong or unsuitable. Check actual fit, comfort, dress requirements, weather, activity and safety. Virtual try-on is an approximation, not a sizing or purchase guarantee. Upload another adult’s image only with permission; do not submit a child portrait to adult-only image features.

6. Garage, tools, vehicles and storage

AI may misidentify a tool, part, chemical, model, serial number, maintenance interval or safe storage location. Read the manufacturer instructions and warning label, use protective equipment and qualified service, and never rely on the app for a safety-critical repair or hazardous-material decision.

7. Children, pets and shared household decisions

An adult controls every child and pet profile. AI output is not pediatric, veterinary or caregiving advice. Confirm age, weight, allergies, current instructions and the correct person or animal before acting. Never give a human or pet a product merely because it appeared in a search, list or AI response.

8. Your responsibility

You decide whether to use AI and whether to act. Do not conceal relevant information, bypass a warning, treat generated text as verified fact or use the app contrary to a label, recall, law or qualified professional. Improper use can cause injury, loss, delay or property damage. To the fullest extent allowed by law, you accept these risks and remain responsible for your decisions and actions.

The Terms of Service contain the complete warranty, liability, assumption-of-risk and misuse provisions.

9. Report unsafe output

See something unsafe or clearly wrong?

Stop using that result and email hello@tessascloset.com with “AI Safety” in the subject. Do not include unnecessary health details, full medicine labels, body photos or another person’s private information.
